Several years ago I revisited The Carnegie Center For Literacy & Learning in Gratz Park in Lexington. This is where I first met Jill Hudgins, at their coffeeshop, in 1991, after returning from California. She and I were engaged for two years. She was visually impaired as a result of brain cancer as a teenager, and was born in Ashland, Kentucky.
