During 1997-2001, I lived in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. I would take a Greyhound bus to visit my mother and friends for a week. Here are photos at my mother’s house during one of those fifteen back-and-forth trips. At West Point, one of my summer positions was as a cadet peer counselor. I put that to good use a month after, when my new roommate told me, the very first day, “I’m a returning cadet from a two-year Mormon mission in South America, I got married there, & that’s not allowed!”
