In October of 2022 I visited Grove Seventh-Day Adventist Church three times. It changed my life in a variety of ways. I stayed at a couple's fifty-acre plot of land in the surrounding mountains for the weekend, in their log cabin. He was eighty and his wife was sixty. He had once been a right-hand man for a leading Adventist evangelist, criss-crossing the country for years and years.
